Bet You Can’t Do This! Word Search
115 Really, Really, Really Hard Puzzles
By: John M. Samson
You can search and search. Will you find?
Puzzle lovers will be entertained for hours with these 115 challenging fun games. With topics that range from 1970s Song Hits to Super Bowl Host Cities, from Harry Potter to Bruce Springsteen, the themes couldn’t be more fun.
The trick is that the searches get harder as they go along. In the earliest puzzles, you’ll get a list containing nearly all the hidden words—perhaps just one will be left off. But gradually the accompanying lists grow shorter and shorter, and by the end, there’s no list at all: just 15 well-concealed words relating to the subject.
So, a good eye isn’t enough—because you won’t know what you’re looking for in advance, it’s also helpful to know something about the theme in advance. For example, in Broadway Musicals, with no guidance, you’ll have to find Camelot, The Book of Mormon, Les Miserables (written backwards), Sweet Charity (reading from bottom to top), and more, from a variety of eras. We’re betting only the best can finish!

Heinz Company, in a heart for Longevity magazine, on an album cover for a rock group, and in a three-page centerfold for Golf Digest.
